Not everyone sings praises of the World’s most gorgeous woman Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Big B might laud her as the greatest bahu, and the finest actress in Bollywood, but for stand-up comedian Russel Peters, the beauty is only good for laughs.
The Canadian comedian of Indian origin Russel Peters who keeps the world engrossed with his humour is surprisingly not too fond of Bollywood movies. A news daily quotes him as saying, “I wouldn’t watch a Bollywood film even if I am at the lowest point of my life. These films have horrible stories and terrible acting. I don’t know why your films have singing or dancing every other minute. Either you are telling a story or you are not.”

Aishwarya is so proud to have a hubby like Abhishek
For Aishwarya Rai time management is not just an art, it's a necessity. She arrived recently after the world tour, then left for Peru via Dubai to shoot for Shankar's Robot.
"I'm looking working with Rajnikant Sir in Robot. He and my father-in-law are institutions. Luckily I've worked with both. And Peru is a place I've never shot in. Wish I had more time to enjoy the new happenings in my life, " sighed Aishwarya.
"But the sad part is I hardly got enough time to do the things that are really important to me, like spend with my parents, specially my father who's been very unwell. I barely came back from the Unforgettable concerts when I had to leave. That's the hard part of being who I am. The show always has to go on."
Aishwarya is deeply moved by the support and love offered to her and her family during this trying time of her father's illness. "I've always had very positive vibes coming from my audience and friends. But the calls messages and prayers for my father's health are something I'll never forget, " Aishwarya says emotionally.
Regretfully she had to leave Mumbai again right sfter her dad's latest chemotherapy. "I'd have liked to be with my parents more. But what to do? "
More on Mani's movie? "We start shooting his film in October. All I'll say at this point about Mani's film is, it's like nothing Abhishek or I have ever done. Guru was a different world."

Aishwarya Rai's father hospitalised
This week is indeed a very stressful one for Bollywood's reigning queen Aishwarya Rai, both, on the physical as well as the mental level. First, it was her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, who took ill on his birthday, and got admitted in Lilavati Hospital.
No sooner did he step on the path to recovery; Aishwarya's father, Krishna Raj Rai fell ill and was immediately admitted at Hinduja Hospital. Sources say that he had only gone there as a part of his routine check up, but was admitted immediately after that.
I am already a superwoman: Aishwarya Rai
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was in Kolkata to walk the ramp. We caught up with the Bachchan-bahu for a candid interview. Excerpts:
Abhishek is playing a superman in his recent release Drona. Don`t you too want to play a superwoman in future?
Why in future? I am already a superwoman in real life. Ask any married woman and she will agree to my answer.
Aishwarya Rai learns Carnatic music!
As her role in Mani Rathnam’s upcoming film shows her in the role of a connoisseur of Carnatic music, Aishwarya Rai has been learning the basics of Carnatic music from an exclusive Carnatic music teacher to effectively make her role appear realistic on screen.
Aishwarya Rai, is an incredibly diligent actress, who ensures her roles are remembered for long. Be it be shedding weight, or learning martial arts or new dance forms, Aishwarya does it all diligently to give memorable and realistic performances on screen.
Aishwarya Rai`s shallow ‘tax act’ comes back to haunt her!
With her perfectly rehearsed speeches and prim and proper dressing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan comes across as the perfect bahurani, but looks like even the ever so gorgeous lady has some skeletons locked away in her closet.
And, one such ghost has now emerged to haunt her and has infact dragged her all the way to the Bombay High court. Wonder what is this fuss about. Well, back in her Miss World pageant winning days, Ash had made an outrageous claim of being an NRI in a bid to escape the tax assessment on £50,000 that she had won as price money. And now a news daily has reports that the Income Tax commissioner, central-I, has dragged the actress to the Bombay High Court against her claim.
